Dr. Justin Burgerson grew up in Spokane, WA and received his Bachelor of Science degree from Eastern Washington University in 2012. Upon graduating, he enrolled at Southern California College of Optometry where he earned his Doctor of Optometry degree with awards and honors in 2016. He completed clinical training at Dzilth-Na-O-Dith-Hle Health Center in New Mexico, Los Angeles VA Hospital in California, and Camp Foster Naval Hospital in Japan. He has also had the opportunity to participate in a mission trip to Paraguay to provide eye care to the under-served communities. Dr. Burgerson’s education culminated with the completion of a 1 year residency at the Mann-Grandstaff VA in Spokane. The residency focus was Ocular Disease with sub specialties in: co-management, specialty contact lenses, low vision and lesion removal. Dr. Burgerson strives to ensure that his patients receive the best eye care possible with good understanding of their vision and eye health. Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, and hiking with his dogs.
